Hello Jason Sir !! I'm a songwriter and I make music on a DAW only as I can't afford an instrument right now. But can you please guide me that what all things i can learn in theory without an instrument to be a better composer, I know very basic stuff of Hindustani Classical and Western. (I'm saving for a piano and will buy one maybe in the next 4-6 months)
I struggle most with rhythm, and this is very helpful.

How come this is the first time I'm seeing this one? Even though you've got the written commentary running alongside the Midiano type falling notes, I envisage that this tutorial is going to take a long time to break down; I'm anticipating having to press the stop and rewind buttons at least a thousand times, lol.

@@nathanielschool I'm not so sure how I can elaborate it, but there is bulerias in piano, a flamenco's style. In guitar it was played at A7, e7 then d(idk what type of d it is ). So I was looking for tutorial and couldn't find English tutorial, and it was played in piano like what you do

I'm still here watching everyday Jason. Coincidentally I was working through a previous video that you did on Dominant 7th Chords so this one is a nice supplement to that one. I would like to see another video on syncopation; not just with the two hands talking together rhythmically, but with the left hand doing its drum pattern thing and the right hand complimenting the left melodically rather than rhythmically; a kind of what to do between chords type of thing?

Hi sir - this video is an eye opener to say the least.... I ordered a customised photoframe of this circle now and keep it on top of my piano. However, one thing which I noticed - I was trying to look at this circle from a note standpoint and then arrive at a formula for a combination of notes to form regular triads from the circle itself- thats when i noticed that to form any major chord, we need the starting note, the 2nd note and the 5th note going in a clockwise direction. Is this a coincidence or somehow also related to the fact that, the ratio of frequencies of a perfect fifth and a starting note is 3:2 (2+3=5)? sorry again for the long text but cannot get it out of my head
All true! The Circle of Fifths can be used for pretty much anything in the field of Harmony! You might enjoy the app Tessitura!
